The Temple of Inscriptions named after the many hieroglyphics found on its inner walls.
In 1949 a secret entree in the temple of inscriptions was discovered. In 1952 the door to the fabulous tomb of Pacal Votan opened its secrets.

The treasure house contained not only many valuables such as a jade mask, a funerary crypt, utensils, etc. but also a tombstone with very significant drawing and inscriptions. They offered material for a variety of interpretations, but definitely refer to cyclic time the Mayan Swastika and the Maya's understanding of cosmic consciousness.

Go down yourself.
